Romerils offers two separate account types: a Shopify customer account for online shopping and a Romerils Credit Account for purchases in store. They are not linked, and ROMERILS Pay Spread is a separate finance service.
A Romerils Credit Account allows approved customers to purchase goods on credit in store. Applications and approval are handled outside Shopify, and a Credit Account cannot be used to pay at online checkout.
A Shopify customer account is optional. You can check out as a guest, or sign in to keep track of online orders placed on the Shopify store and manage the account details Shopify supports.

What is a Credit Account?
Our Romerils Credit Account is an extension of credit from Romerils to you, allowing approved customers to purchase goods and materials in store on a buy-now, pay-later basis. It is not an online checkout payment method.
Who can apply for a Credit Account?
Applications are open to businesses and individuals and are subject to eligibility checks. Applying does not create or approve a Shopify customer account.
Why is a Credit Account useful?
For smaller businesses in the building and plumbing industry, we understand that it can be difficult to fund the materials and tools required at the start of a project. A Credit Account can provide a wider window in which to pay for purchases made in store.

No. A Shopify customer account is optional, and customers can complete checkout as a guest.
Why use a customer account?
A customer account provides one place to view online orders placed on the Shopify store and manage supported account details. Legacy WordPress account details, addresses and order history are not transferred to Shopify.
Who can create a customer account?
Customer accounts are available to all. Delivery is available only within Jersey, Channel Islands, and Click & Collect is available from the Dumaresq Street store unless stated otherwise.
